Marine Trunk Piston Oil

Eurol Marilla TP is a trunk piston engine oil for medium speed diesel engines operating on distillate and MDO fuels.

Eurol Marilla TP range is able to neutralize acids (to prevent corrosive wear), prevent deposit formation by keeping contaminants suspended,separate water and provides sufficient load carrying capacity to protect engine parts under high load.

Eurol Marilla TP provides an excellent control of oil consumption, where liner lacquering is a problem and prevents deposits.

Eurol Marilla TP is recommended for engines operated on distillate fuels having sulphur contents up to 1%.

Eurol Marilla TP has an excellent thermal- and oxydative stability resulting in extended oil life and provides protection against salt water corrosion.

Eurol Marilla TP range has a good TBN retention throughout long drain intervals and meets the performance requirements of API CF.

Eurol B.V. is advising the user to monitor the TBN at regular intervals (approx. 1000 hours) to ensure the TBN will not decrease to levels half of the original value. TBN depletion is dependent on several factors as sump (bulk) oil temperature and sulphur content of the fuel. Eurol R&D laboratory can advise on test methods and any required further actions.
