
Toyota GAZOO Racing extends world championship
Toyota GAZOO Racing has become world champion in the Rally-Raid discipline for the second consecutive year.
Eurol ist stolzer Partner von Teams wie dem Riwald Dakar Team, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing und Eurol Rallysport/Team de Rooy, ehemals bekannt als Mammoet Rallysport. Und es zahlt sich aus: TOYOTA GAZOO Racing und Fahrer Nasser Al-Attiyah haben bereits dreimal den Sieg beim Dakar Rally geholt, teilweise dank der Schmiermittel von Eurol.
Der Dakar Rally, der 1979 als Paris-Dakar Rallye begann, hat eine lange, beeindruckende Geschichte. Dieses epische Ausdauerrennen führte zunächst von Paris nach Dakar, wobei die Sahara-Wüste ein bedeutendes Hindernis darstellte. 2009 verlegte man die Rallye nach Südamerika, wo die Fahrer sich durch herausfordernde Landschaften wie hohe Berge, tiefe Täler und riesige Salzflächen in Argentinien, Chile, Peru und Bolivien kämpften. Seit 2020 wird die Rallye in den weiten Wüsten Saudi-Arabiens ausgetragen.
Im Laufe der Jahre wurde der Dakar Rally zum Symbol für extreme Ausdauerherausforderungen und zieht die besten Offroad-Fahrer der Welt an, um an diesem anspruchsvollen Autorennen, LKW- und Motorradrennen teilzunehmen.
Für Eurol ist der Dakar Rally die perfekte Bühne, um unsere Schmiermittel bis ans Äußerste zu testen. Von starken Temperaturschwankungen und hohen Druckbelastungen bis zum Kampf gegen Sand und Wasser müssen unsere Produkte allem gewachsen sein. Die enge Zusammenarbeit mit den verschiedenen Dakar-Rallye-Teams liefert uns unschätzbare Informationen. Dies gilt sowohl für unsere speziellen Rennschmiermittel als auch für die Schmiermittel, die im täglichen Einsatz verwendet werden.
