Improved cooling for the mower's hydraulic system

Hydraulic systems in mowers can become too hot during intensive use, leading to increased wear and reduced efficiency. This was the case with a Toro Greensmaster with hydrostatic drive. After to the addition of Additive-S BIO, the oil temperature dropped significantly, making the system more stable, efficient and durable.

Description of the situation

The Toro Greensmaster mower, equipped with a hydrostatic drive, suffered from elevated hydraulic temperatures during mowing. This resulted in increased wear and reduced efficiency of the hydraulic pump. The pump temperature was too high for optimal operation and could shorten the machine’s service life.

Solution

After adding Additive-S BIO to the hydraulic fluid, the temperature of the hydraulic pump dropped by nearly 6 degrees Celsius, resulting in a more efficient hydraulic system. This lower temperature reduces stress on the pump, lowers the risk of overheating and contributes to a longer service life of the machine. In addition, the improved cooling leads to less maintenance and lower operational costs in the long run.
