Eurol in Dakar: Van Kasteren back in top-five during extreme stage 8

Janus van Kasteren had presented the Mammoet Rallysport Team with his best stage result in only his second Dakar appearance. The Dutchman finished in fifth in what was considered as one of the hardest stages in this years Dakar.

Van Kasterens day in the dunes went smooth. “We only got stuck once, but finished without any big problems”, commented a happy Van Kasteren afterwards. He holds a nice 11th place in the general standings of the trucks. “That 15 minute loss because of me being stuk on a dune, won’t spoil the party tonight. I’m extremely happy with this result.”
