Introduction of New Food-Grade Lubricants

Food-safe lubrication with optimal performance. Eurol introduces Lube-S FD: four fully synthetic NSF H1 lubricants with SYNGIS Technology. They reduce friction and wear and simplify lubricant management in the food processing industry.

Food processing companies often use different lubricants for individual machines and applications. Thanks to the multifunctional versatility of Lube-S FD, one product can replace several traditional NSF H1 lubricants, where the application and machine specifications allow.

Performance Measured in Practice

During field tests in the food processing industry, machine performance was monitored using smart sensors and data analysis. This provides insight into the effects of lubrication during daily production. At food manufacturer Polskamp, a 5.8% lower average power consumption and an 11.3% lower average vibration value were measured after switching to Eurol Lube 220-S FD.

Steven van de Craats, Technical Director at Polskamp, explains the results: "For us, reliable machines and an efficient production process are essential. During the test with Eurol Lube 220-S FD, we observed positive developments in both power consumption and vibration values. It shows that the choice of lubricant can also influence machine performance."

Four Viscosities for Various Applications

The range is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including hydraulic systems, compressors, gearboxes and chains, as well as automatic lubrication systems.

All four products are NSF H1 certified for applications where incidental food contact may occur. The choice of the right product depends on the application, required viscosity, operating conditions and machine specifications.

Packaging and Advice

All products are available in a 20-litre can and a 210-litre drum. Eurol Lube 100-S FD, 220-S FD and 460-S FD will also become available in 5-litre packaging.
