Eurol main sponsor Dakar motorcyclist Ian Olthof

Eurol is the proud main sponsor of Ian Olthof, the only Dutch motorcyclist registered for the Dakar Rally 2026. The 34-year-old Olthof, from Hellendoorn, participates in the toughest rally in the world with a Honda motorcycle from the Dutch HT Rally Raid Team.

During the recent Morocco Desert Challenge, Ian Olthof achieved an impressive stage victory. Unfortunately, his participation ended with a painful crash, from which he has since recovered. It is remarkable that Ian Olthof has registered for the Dakar Rally as in the 2024 and 2025 editions, no Dutch motorcycle riders participated in the motorcycle category.

Ian has been relying on the quality of Eurol for many years. The car company 'Bie Olthof', which Ian runs, has been using Eurol products for over 35 years in both the workshop and the store. Bie Olthof has joined the Eurol Service Point oil formula and was named 'BOVAG Independent Garage Company of the Year 2024' this year.
