Rocco Coronel convincingly champion in the G40 Junior Championship

Rocco Coronel, Red Bull junior, showed impressive consistency throughout the season in the G40 Junior Championship. The young Dutchman won 11 out of the 22 races he entered and reached the podium in 19 races. These exceptional performances earned him the title in the class, where Coronel is the first non-British champion.

The G40 Junior Championship is a stepping class for young karting talent towards the higher single-seater classes. Former Formula 1 driver Lando Norris and various current Formula 4 drivers have previously participated in the championship. Drivers aged between 14 and 17 are allowed to compete in the races, which are run with equal cars with equal power.

The Next Step

For Coronel, it was his first and last season in this class. In 2026, he will make the move to the Spanish Formula 4 Championship.

Eurol is proud to be able to support young racing talent like Coronel. Where possible within the regulations of the class, his team uses Eurol Specialty products. We look forward to taking the next steps together with Rocco and contributing to further successes in his promising motorsport career.
