Eurol Strengthens Partnership with Rocco Coronel
Eurol strengthens its partnership with young racing talent Rocco Coronel, who, alongside his karting activities, is now also supported in the Ginetta Junior Championship.
In the meantime, Rocco has delivered impressive performances in various karting competitions. Helmut Marko of Red Bull Racing has also been impressed and, in 2024, added Rocco to the Red Bull Junior Program as the youngest driver ever. With his passion for racing, Rocco is determined to pursue his dream and build a successful career in motorsport.
In addition to Eurol’s support during the European and World Karting Championships, Rocco also receives support in the English Ginetta Junior Winter Series and the subsequent Ginetta Junior Championship. This championship consists of eight races and is an important step in his development as a driver, allowing Rocco to compete with other young talents and further refine his skills. Many drivers, including Formula 1 driver Lando Norris, British GT champion Seb Morris, British Touring Car champion Tom Ingram, and W Series champion Jamie Chadwick, gained their first experiences in Ginetta.
In the United Kingdom, it is possible to start motorsport at the age of 14 in junior classes, for which certain restrictions apply. The Ginetta Junior Championship is one of those classes. Races are driven with the Ginetta G40 from the R Racing team, equipped with a tubular frame, an FIA-approved roll cage, and a fiberglass body. A 1.8-litre Ford Zetec engine with 100 hp provides the power, coupled with a sequential six-speed gearbox. We supply this car with our Specialty racing line featuring SYNGIS Technology.
